Sorry for the lack of updates

I've been distracted with other aspects in life (ex. family, gaming, travel, etc...)

I'll post a few links that are updated a little more often:

Introducing the Burst Hack Kit for Pantech Burst (with ICS Update):
Features:
  • No FASTBOOT setup required/used in the process.
  • LINUX and WINDOWS Support
  • Full complete root including Superuser installation
  • Install Legacy bootloader allowing fastboot flash functions (OPTIONAL)
  • Full complete busybox installation for extended terminal command support
  • Full init.rc support for user installed daemons
  • Passes date token to recovery
  • Insecure boot (adb remount) for easier mounting system r/w
  • Install Clockworkmod Recovery
    • Brick bug patched/safe ICS kernel
    • CWM 6.0.2.7 touch version
    • Lighted capacitive keys
    • Accepts date token from ROM and sets date/time (UTC) within a couple minutes on reboot to recovery (hack for ’1969 backupset bug’)
    • Internal and external SDCard support
    • WARNING: NEVER PARTITION THE INTERNAL SDCARD WITH CWM OR ANY OTHER UTILITY. YOU CAN ONLY SUCCEED AT BRICKING YOUR DEVICE
Prerequisites:
  • Unrooted, stock Pantech Burst with ICS upgrade
  • Know how to and get adb working on your PC with your Pantech Burst. You will NOT need fastboot working.
  • Know how to use your PC. I do NOT teach PC 101. Don’t ask for clarification of this process – it’s dirt simple if you are competent.
Process:
  • Download this: BHK-20130116.zip
  • unzip BHK-20130116.zip
  • WINDOWS:
    • run hack-burst.cmd
  • Linux/OSX:
    • Open terminal
    • cd [/path/to/hack/kit]
    • ./hack-burst.sh
That’s it. Simple, right? If you don’t think so maybe you should do something you are more suited to (like learn to play “Go Fish”) because hacking smartphones is just not for you.
Notes about this version of Clockworkmod Recovery:
WARNING: NEVER PARTITION THE INTERNAL SDCARD WITH CWM OR ANY OTHER UTILITY. YOU CAN ONLY SUCCEED AT BRICKING YOUR DEVICE

These are official Clockworkmod Recoveries, made from Koush’s build box from our repo. I’ve made them flashable from CWM. I also packed up a stock recovery to flash from CWM. If you don’t have CWM installed yet, you can just unzip them and do:
fastboot boot recovery.img
then mount the sdcard in mounts and storage, then:
adb push (recoveryname.zip) /sdcard/
Then flash it to install it permanently.
If you are already rooted, these recoveries are also available on Rom Manager and Rom Manager Premium (for the touch recovery)

CWM Touch Recovery : cwm-6.0.2.7-touch-presto.zip
CWM Standard Recovery : cwm-6.0.2.7-presto.zip
